    Far from the madding crowd’s ignoble strife on the outskirts of the village in a picturesque landscape here emerged an institution at the bank of chandya.The idea of flashing light of knowledge on the mind of illiterate rustics dawned into brain of some harbingers of education of the area. It was the first day of February, 1929, the middle English School come into being.

    The fire of the national Quit India Movement through every nook and corner of the country was still allege.On the 2nd February, Friday 1942 the M.E.School was upgraded to a high English School.A resident of Paramanandapur late Iswar Chandra Jana donated certain amount of money for the Reserve Fund of this School. To commemorate his father the School was named after him as Paramanandapur Jagannath Institution.

1 ::Our Vision:: The vision of the Institution is to disseminate the glimpses of high quality education in general and vocational streams with different disciplines, covering a large number of rural students, particularly students belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Communities including minority sections of this area. ::Mission:: Our Institution mission, under rural base, is to help and prepare students to become effective, honest, morally and socially responsible leaders in to-day’s competitive society. We support our mission by providing a high quality, broad-based scientific education among the students. :: General Rules & Regulations :: Keeping in view the aims and aspirations of Institution, certain rules and regulations have been framed to be strictly followed by the students. The rules have been formulated not to bind the students within boundaries but to make them understand the values of discipline which when followed meticulously by the students, help them to emerge into a more determined matured and knowledgeable individual. A full hearted support from our students and guardians are thus solicited. 1.Students can avail all institutional facilities. 2.All students should attend the classes in proper uniform as provided by the Institution. Boys must have short and properly groomed hair, clean and well-trimmed nails. Boys should attend classes everyday with a clean and polished kets. 3.A student has to ensure at least 75% attendance for attaining eligibility for appearing the examination. 4.Students arriving late are not allowed to enter the Institution and are marked absent. Displinary Actions are taken against persistant latecomers. 5.A medical certificate is required if there are more than 3 days consecutive absence owing to illness. 6.Ragging is banned in Institution and anyone indulging in ragging process is likely to be punished appropriately. 7.In case of unruly conduct and violation of Institutional norms, student may fetch displinary action leading to discontinuance. 8. Use of cell-phones inside the Institution-premises is strictly prohibited. :: Hostel Rules & Regulations :: 1. Only bonafide students of our Institution are allowed to stay in the hostel. 2. Once enrolled student cannot leave the Hostel before completion of one year stay in the Hostel. 3. Prior permission is required to leave the Hostel during week days or on any public holiday. 4.Hostelites are solely responsible for the safety of their valuables and belongings. Institution is not responsible for any theft or loss. 5. In case of damage of any hostel belongings, the same will be deducted from the Hostel Fee Deposit money from the concerned student. 6. Hostelites must attend ‘Prayer’ twice everyday and maintain day to-day study hour as well as other activities regularly. 7. Keeping of cell-phones, music system or other such electronic devices is strictly prohibited. 8. Hostelites should strictly avoid misuse of water, electricity and any other facilities provided in the hostel. 9. Hostelites are responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the entire hostel premises. 10. The hostel fee should be paid on the 10th working day of every month. 11. Relatives/parents are welcome to visit their ward in the hostel with a prior permission from the Hostel Superintendant. There is no provision for the parents to stay in Hostel. 12. Ragging and smoking are strictly prohibited in the Hostel. 13. Strict action should be taken against hostelites found not complying with the above rules.
